An experienced, member-elected Board of Directors leads our organization. We’ve intentionally kept the membership group small to emphasize the quality of our initiatives, to enable strong member relationships, and to assure that each member has a significant role in our success. Members are only required to pay minimal dues to cover meals at our meetings and to care about the future of Denver’s children. We work together through our personal and professional networks to raise money and to create opportunities for the charities we assist.
What does it mean to be a DCF Member?
Denver Children’s Foundation members typically meet semi-monthly on Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at various restaurants around town. Annual dues are used to pay for these events. Active Members who raise a minimum of $3,000 per year are entitled to vote on agenda items and for officers. Members are expected to attend a minimum of 75% of the meetings and provide “manpower” at our major fundraising events.
