The Christmas for Kids fundraiser presented by Netcom LLC – entering its 36th year in 2025 – is sponsored and coordinated through the Denver Children’s Foundation (DCF) and partner Denver Kids Inc.
This event provides disadvantaged Denver-area children the opportunity to share holiday gifts with others, which many wouldn’t otherwise be able to experience.
The children we serve face increasing adversity and health, social, emotional, educational, and financial challenges deepened by economic conditions, governmental funding gaps, and long-range pandemic effects. With your help, we’ll make their holidays special and give them something to celebrate.
Make the Holidays Brighter for Local Kids
In 2025, due to continuing needs in the community, each child who participates in our in-person shopping spree will receive $150 to purchase gifts for their family members. A DCF member will shop with each child to select personalized gifts for their family members then wrap the gifts with the child. Each child will listen, learn to budget, and develop a shopping list which focuses on other people in their family. After the shopping is done, our members will present the children with a special gift of their own. And at the end of the spree, Santa will arrive on his helicopter-sleigh and distribute gifts from DCF to each child.
Many of you are committed to worthwhile charities and events during the holiday season. However, if you’d like to open your heart to assist us with this most special of all our events, your donations would be greatly appreciated. Every donation we receive gets us closer to the goal of ensuring that these kids have a magical holiday season and more promising new year.
